code to detect modchips

Post by ericde45 » August 9th, 2024, 10:17 pm

Hello

does anyone have a piece of code to detect modchip ?
and the same for the stealth version ? ( if it is possible, as it is supposed to be stealth)

i bought a ps1 and don't know if there is a modchip in it
burning a CDR could help, but as it seems not that reliable even with a working modchip, if the CDR game does not work, i won't be able to know if the CDR is not well burned or if there is no modchip

and of course i don't want to put my ps1 in pieces

( i will soon be able to run code on it using Orion's parallel card. )

Use a screwdriver, open your PS1 and hunt for a atteched MOD Chip. Thats the easiest way to get Information.
