SCPH-1050 problem
I have a SCPH-1050, when I tried to use with SCPH-7501 and XRGB-3 I'm unable to get a stable picture.
I'm guessing the Multi A/V is a bit different from Japanese (e.g. SCPH-7500).
Can anyone confirm this, and what it changed?
Thanks

The PCB above is much better (professional) than those currently sold.

Re: PSX controller on PC with usb?
Today you can buy for like $5 bucks.
I have one here (for PS2) and works perfectly (I use DualShock 2), I even can use it with ePSXe too.

Those would be very useful on games like Tokimeki series.
Re: SCPH-1020
Thanks, I did them w/o tripod, this is why the last photo (PCB's back) wasn't good.

Re: Best laser lens for Playstation?
Currently I live in Brazil, but I only have and use NTSC stuff here. I have the superb XRGB-3. :dance Also, got the official PSX RGB>SCART cable (SCPH-1050) and brand new too. With XRGB-3 it output HDMI via DVI > HDMI cable. Tested with MSX (did my own cable), Neo-Geo (same) and PS2 (used SCPH...

Re: Best laser lens for Playstation?
Well, my first PS1 was SCPH-5501, sold it years ago.
Now I got a new 7501, and I'll stay with it.
As for video, I will use pure RGB so in this part will be much better to me (always used S-video as max).

Re: [DOWNLOAD] X-FLASH V1.2 BETA 3
I found the files here: http://www.murraymoffatt.com/playstation-xplorer.html The menu need some clarifications, but since it was made in 2000, for sure it was abandoned. <L1> - COPY EEPROM TO RAM (512KB) <0> - REBOOT (or REBOOT PLAYSTATION) Dunno if a CRC is included, otherwise it would be easy to ...

Re: Best laser lens for Playstation?
100x & 550x uses Asahi Kasei AK4309AVM DAC. 750x & 990x uses IC405 (NJM2174) in a confuse way. Would be interesting to find (or make) an audio mod for 750x & 990x to be better than super outdated AK4309AVM. For fun: http://www.stereophile.com/content/sony-playstation-1-cd-player-measurem...

Re: Best laser lens for Playstation?
I know 1001 & 5501 have high-quality AKM DAC, so for audio part it will be a bit different, but for video I couldn't find any information on the changes. The audio shouldn't be hard to make a mod pos-5501. Also 550x doesn't have a dedicated audio output, so only 100x have good audio output. 5501...

Re: [DOWNLOAD] PlayStation 1 BIOS Collection
That one is for SCPH-900x only (AFAIK), and it uses a Winbond W9925QF, is very limited, and I don't think VCD on nowdays is any useful at all (we're on blu-ray era after all, and soon 4K resolution).
